Moose Cafe is all About the Food

The orginal Moose Cafe is located on the grounds of the Western North Carolina Farmer's Market and has been in business for 15 years.  The restaurant is in close proximity to the Biltmore Estate, featuring beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountians.  The key to the restaurant's success is it's location on the grounds of the Farmer's Market.  This enables us to select the freshest products to produce our home cooked meals.  The Moose Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.  Our calling card for each meal period is a hot homemade biscuits served with our homemade applebutter, this is how we greet our guests when they are seated.  Menu favorites include grandma's meatloaf, southern fried chicken, center cut country ham, country fried steak and smoked pork chops.  Menu items are served with farm fresh vegetables, folks love our real mashed potatoes and country style green beans.  Not only do we serve great home cooked food but we provide fast, friendly service.  Most of the friendly staff has been with the restaurant for over 10 years, many since the restaurant has opened.

Last year we opened a second restaurant on the grounds of the Piedmont Triad Farmer's Market in Greensboro, North Carolina.  The market is located in the heart of the Triad a short drive from High Point, Winston Salem and Greensboro.  The market is very pedistrian friendly and features a wide variety of home made foods, fresh vegetables and unique crafts.  The Moose Cafe fare of farm fresh vegetables and home cooked country cookin' has been a perfect fit.  The Moose Cafe has enjoyed a great first year and is very pround of the great crew in place.
